This white-hot twist on everyone’s favorite cold weather beverage is a sweet and surprising way to spend winter’s coldest days.
White hot chocolate is a bit creamier than your average hot chocolate, with strong notes of vanilla, nutmeg and almond.
Pour a cup of this frothy refreshment as soon as the snow starts to fall, and make sure to have plenty of cookies on hand for dunking!

Ingredients
3 cups light cream or half-and-half
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
marshmallows, for garnish
Directions
In a heavy bottom saucepan heat chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup cream, stir in nutmeg, and, cinnamon and whisk over low hear until white chocolate has melted entirely.
Pour in remainder of cream and continue whisking until smooth and thoroughly heated. Remove pan from heat and stir in almond and vanilla extracts. Pour into large mugs and top off with marshmallows and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
