An American Classic: Philly’s Annual Mummers Parade

The Mummers Parade is a folk festival that’s traced by to the 17th century and takes place every New Year’s Day in Philadelphia. With costumes, live music and dance, groups of Mummers parade the streets of Philadelphia in competition for a New Year’s Eve tradition many Philadelphians attend every year.
