How to Make a Woodland Owl

What summer camp experience would be complete without a craft?! Kids love creative ways to make art fun and this is a great summer-time craft idea for chiildren of all ages to enjoy. Crafts at summer parties lets these little guests have a blast and your summer party will definitely be a hit! This craft idea is sure to get your kids creative juices flowing. 

For this you will need the following:

Wooden Disks (these can just be 1-2" slices from any logs you might have handy)
Feathers 
Googly Eyes
Piper Cleaners (you can fashion these into feet ahead of time)
Paper Triangles (to be used as beaks)
Glue

You can create one owl ahead of time as an example of what is possible with the art supplies you are providing and then put everything out a table and let the kids go to town!

Depending on the age of the children at your party (we hosted ours for a group of three year olds), you may be surprised by the very creative results!
