Scrapbooking is a fun and relatively easy activity. For this project, you'll be working with a lot of people and you'll need to stay organized. Read on for instructions and helpful tips.
Directions
Before you begin creating the actual book, you have to contact anyone you wish to be part of the gift and explain what you need from them: a letter or note along with a few photos.
Scrapbook (Purchase a size and style that fits your needs.)
Scrapbook paper (Again, this is a personal choice, but be sure to buy enough paper to paste all your collected letters and photos onto.)
Glue, tape or other adhesive
Scissors
Colorful pens and markers
Any embellishments, stickers, stencils, or trimmings you may want to add
After you receive all the letters and photos, you can begin to assemble the scrapbook by simply pasting them onto your scrapbook paper and then adding the pages to the actual book. (*Note: Make sure to let the pages dry completely before putting them in the book. Also, placing the scrapbook pages under heavy books while drying will keep them from curling in at the edges.)
Once the pages have been placed in the book, add any embellishments you wish -- don't be afraid to get creative, just make sure your design reflects the person the gift will be given to.
