This fun twist on ice cream makes both preparing ahead and serving a cinch.  I used a small ice cream scoop to make my balls of ice cream the night before and put them in a single layer in a tupperware in the freezer. I used small mason jars to keep the country feel, and also put those in the freezer the night before. The day of, I placed the scoops in the mason jars (really frozen ice cream keeps the jars clean from drips.  Then I put the serving tray right back in the freezer until I was ready to serve.  

Have some whipped cream, chocolate sauce, berries and granola to top.  Voila!
