Individual Tiramisu

Tiramisu is usually a hit with any guest. The best part? You can prep it ahead of time, which makes serving your dessert course a cinch!

Ingredients

75 Lady Finger cookies
1 1/2 cups Kahlua
1 1/2 cups brewed espresso
16 ounces Mascarpone cheese
1 pint of heavy cream whipped
container of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
chocolate shavings for garnish
8 dessert dishes or wine glasses

Directions

Mix the mascarpone and confectioners sugar until creamy. Gently fold into whipped cream and set aside.

In a shallow bowl, combine coffee and Kahula.

Quickly dip ladyfingers (one at a time, right before using) in coffee mixture, and place a few in the bottom of each glass.

Layer with mascarpone mixture and a sprinkle of cocoa powder, and repeat (soak, layer, mascarpone, chocolate, soak....).

Make it about 5 or 6 layers tall (depending upon vessel), and finish with a generous sprinkle of chocolate.

Chill a couple of hours before serving.

Garnish with chocolate shavings.
