One of the most popular tailgating foods you're bound to run into is a hot dog. There’s nothing like a good hot dog before game time, or during game time for that matter.
While we know the typical condiments for a hot dog are ketchup, mustard, and/or relish, we also know that I, of course, like to create dishes that aren’t just typical. These hot dogs are made with grilled jalapenos and cheddar cheese. I know cheese might sound strange on a hot dog, but it really compliments the beef hot dog and creates a great combination.

Ingredients:
4 Jalapenos
6 All-Beef Hot Dogs
6 Hot Dog Buns
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Place the jalapenos and hot dogs on a grill over medium-high heat. Grill the jalapenos until they are charred and then thinly slice them. Continue grilling the hot dogs until they are plump and fully cooked.
To assemble, place the hot dogs in their buns. Divide the cheese among the hot dogs by sprinkling the cheese right on top of each hot dog. Place about 3 slices of jalapenos on top of the cheese on each hot dog, and then place the hot dogs on the grill to melt the cheese. Serve immediately.
