Jingle Bells Take-Out Box

Readily available at dollar stores, craft stores or even from your local Chinese take-out spot, these take-out boxes are easy to dress up, super inexpensive and an unexpected surprise for your recipient to receive.

Supplies

Green, red or white take-out box (available at many craft stores)
Mini jingle bells with a metal loop or hook on top (available at many craft stores)
Red and green beads
Holiday design paper
Scissors
Decorative edge scissors
Double-stick tape
Red ribbon

Directions

Step 1: Open the take-out box and unbend the metal wire inside that keeps the box together at the end of the handle. (Tip: Use needle nose pliers).

Step 2: Thread mini jingle bells and red and green beads in a alternating pattern on to the wire handle.

Step 3: Reassemble the box and put the metal wire back into the holes on the side of the box, bending it to secure it back in place.

Step 4: Cut holiday design paper to fit over the top of the closed box; use decorative edges scissors to give the paper a festive edge.

Step 5: Use double-stick tape to adhere the holiday paper to the box and accent it with a little red bow and a jingle bell on the front.
