Jumbo Marshmallow Pops

More Party Ideas

Desserts on a stick are not only cute, they are also convenient. There's no need for a plate or a fork, and they keep your hands free of excess mess.

For any party I host, I always try to make at least one dessert on a stick, but if I can do more than that, I do. This was true for a recent Gender Reveal Party I hosted where I wanted to create something simple, yet delicious. After seeing my guests gobble up these Jumbo Marshmallow Pops as eagerly as I did, I learned they were just the ticket!

You can make these pops ahead of time so long as you're able to store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Any longer, and they'll lose their fresh flavor and texture.

Nothing could be simpler, yet guests will delight in these airy chocolatey bites. Feel free to jazz up with additional flair, too! Sprinkles, edible glitter, crushed nuts and even crumbled bacon bits make excellent toppers.

Ingredients:

12 Jumbo Marshmallows

1/2 cup Pink Candy Melts

1/2 cup Blue Candy Melts

12 Lollipop Sticks

Pink and Blue Sugar Sprinkles, Optional

Directions:

Place both the pink candy melts and the blue candy melts in two separate heatproof bowls. Place each bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stirring occasionally, heat the candy melts until they are completely melted. While the candy melts are melting, place one lollipop stick into the center-end of each jumbo marshmallow.

Once the candy melts are ready, grab the jumbo marshmallows and dip the bottom half into the candy melts – I alternated between blue and pink so I got the same amount of each color.

After dipping the marshmallow in the candy melts, sprinkle the marshmallow with sprinkles and then place on parchment paper to dry.  Repeat with remaining marshmallows.

Allow the marshmallows to harden completely before serving.  Enjoy!

Makes:

1 dozen Jumbo Marshmallow Pops
