Crispy Skinny Minnie Pita Chips

Tackle the fat and come out with a flavor touchdown with these super healthy chips for your next tailgating or Super Bowl party.

Ingredients

1 bag of your favorite whole-wheat pita pockets
Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cut the pita pockets in half and half again until the triangles are the desired snack size.

Place the pita triangles on a large sheet pan and bake ‘til they are golden brown and very crispy. Depending on the thickness of the pita bread, this could take about 10-12 minutes. Flip the triangles half way through cooking so that they crisp up on both sides. Be sure to check on them periodically as you don’t want them to burn.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
