One of the best parts about the holiday season is spending time with your family. I have young children and I am always trying to create really fun and special, holiday memories for my toddlers. I also have a full-time job, which means that I don't have a lot of time to bake.
Luckily, Mrs. Beasley's Store in Beverly Hills, CA has given us some great tips on how we can turn pre-made desserts into fun and easy holiday treats for kids. These great tips save us time in the kitchen, so we can spend more time creating memories with our families!
Mini Brownie on a Stick
First, we have these terrific brownie minis. These desserts are incredibly easy to make. You can buy pre-made mini brownies or if you have a little extra time, make your own brownies and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Then just put them on a stick. Trust me, from my experience, toddlers love anything on a stick so these are always a huge winner in my house!
All kids love to decorate Christmas cookies. This season make this project a little easier. Grab some plain sugar cookies, icing, sprinkles and m&ms and just let your kids go crazy and tell everyone you spent hours slaving in the kitchen. This will totally keep your kids entertained all afternoon!
Snowman Milk and Cookies
One of my favorite holiday treats are these cute little milk and cookies snowmen. Just fill a small jar with milk and top with a chocolate truffle. To make this treat look like a cute snowman add a small fabric scarf, and a candy corn nose. Insert a festive straw and your kids have their milk and cookies in one treat!
