Get the kiddies together for a lunch date this summer that's all about BBQ. We put together BBQ party ideas for this informal summer celebration and it turned out to be a blast!
So click through to catch a glimpse of our party and get the tips and tricks we used to have a backyard bash of your own!
It all started with a summer party invitation we found at Pear Tree Greetings. The 'All Things BBQ' design was the inspiration for nearly every menu choice, decoration and activity we planned.
To keep our party playful and easy, we up a table in the yard and decorated it. Here, the focal point of our set-up. Keep clicking to see our easy BBQ decoration ideas close up!
We topped a portable grill with cupcake hamburgers. Yes, these were our dessert! Get the how-to for burger cupcakes and make your own - they combine yellow cake with brownies and colored icing. Super easy and super fun!
Mini corn on the cobs and watermelon wedges were skewered and staged in metal buckets (DIY here). The inexpensive mustard and ketchup squirt bottles reinforced our invitation theme but also made burger assembly a cinch.
Our table looked great with all our BBQ embellishments, but also served as a Burger Bar for the kids. Check out some helpful BBQ party ideas, hints and photos to make a burger bar at your BBQ.
The sliders we laid out for the kids were dressed up with clips of the images we had from left over invites.
Our kids had such a blast creating their own sliders. Plus, it was easy for everyone to eat what they liked and for us to keep our hands free to take care of other business.
After everyone was fed and burgered out, we decided to capture a few summertime memories with a photo booth, another great BBQ party idea. Here's our easy photo booth how-to along with a few more shots (adorable, if we do say so ourselves!).
