Mail Event T-Shirts as Invitations

High school students and college co-eds have perfected the art of printing t-shirts for any special occasion. Take a cue from them and send a t-shirt invitation for your next big event. It is a great idea for family reunions, charity dinners or a milestone birthday.

• Choose your t-shirt color, and, using your guest list, sizes for each person. (You could also go with just one size such as large.) You can find plain t-shirts at craft stores or the men's department in stores such as Target or Wal-Mart.
• Search for local screen printers in the Yellow Pages. Many can help you choose or design a logo for the front of the shirt and prepare all the party details for printing on the back. Or, you can order customized t-shirts from Vistaprint, where you can choose from a variety of designs for different occasions or upload your own.
