Our 'All Things BBQ' invitation from Pear Tree Greetings really helped inspire the look of our party.
We like to keep our outdoor celebrations simple, but at the same time playful and decorative.
After seeing the cute images on the invite, we decided to set the table for our party as a ‘build your own cheeseburger slider bar’.

The kids had a good time making their own burger. Not only did it make it easy to cater to their particular tastes, it also helped keep our hands free for other BBQ to-do's.
To reinforce the party theme, we used extra invitations we had as a decorative table embellishment.

We also cut out coordinating images (burgers and mustard/ketchup bottles) and used them as fun toothpick holders.

We used kid friendly plastic gingham table cloths, topped with solid colored paper plates that matched the colors of the invitation perfectly.

Wrapping the plastic utensils in napkins, then tied with twine maintained our casual look and did double duty in securing utensils together.

Plastic ketchup and mustard bottles, also inspired from the invitation, made it fun for the kids to squeeze on their favorite topping - with NO mess!
