Wash all that spicy food and dip at your party down with some margaritas. Always a crowd favorite, but often not a host's favorite, serving margaritas at your party is easy with the MYO Margarita Bar!
Mix up the first round of drinks for guests, then let them get creative with their own concoctions. As long as you set up all the margarita ingredients you can think of, your friends will have no trouble getting their own drinks.
Designate a spot in your space for guests to get crazy with margarita concoctions - here are the tips and recipes you'll need!
Here's what you'll need:
Stock your bar with the three types of Tequila; Blanco, Repesado and Anjejo
Your mixes can vary from classic sour mix, orange juice, pomegranate and prickly pear.
On the rocks is easiest for an MYO Bar, but if you’re going the frozen route… throw in strawberries, bananas!
And don't forget a blender!
These are a few of my favorite Margaritas:
The Skinny Margie – Tonic Water, Blanco Tequila and lime
Firecracker – Jalapeno Infused Tequila, Sour Mix and a dash of Grenadine
Prickly Texan – Anjejo Tequila, Prickly Pear Juice and Sour Mix
Mark-A-Rita – (my specialty) Repesado Tequila, sour mix, dash of orange juice, fresh lime juice, shaken and served straight-up.
*Salt or no salt – it is your preference!
