One of my favorite Super Bowl dips comes from friend and actor Manny Urrego. It's simple to make and perfect for your Super Bowl party.
Serve it alongside a crudites of baby carrots, bell pepper slices in different colors, cherry tomatoes, lightly steamed and chilled haricot verts (the French Green beans) and celery. This dip is also a surefire winner with hot chicken wings and as a dressing over a fresh tossed green salad.
Speaking of wings, you don't have to be a Buffalo Bill or a Joe Montana to whip up a high-scoring batch. Try my quick and easy recipe for classic buffalo wings.
Ingredients
1 bottle of your favorite buttermilk Ranch dressing
4 ounces of crumbled Blue Cheese (Manny likes to use a French Roquefort but you can substitute Stilton or Gorgonzola).
A splash of hot sauce (Manny's pick is Tabasco)
Fresh cracked black pepper
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, and serve with your favorite veggies.
You can prepare this dip the day before and store in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
