Margarita Sugar Cookies

We've spiked cupcakes, boozed up cake pops, and even added liquor to our popsicles, and now we've spiked another sweet treat - cookies. These margarita sugar cookies are the perfect after work to indulge in. You've got your midnight snack and end of day cocktail all in one!

Ingredients:

1 pouch sugar cookie mix

3 tablespoons flour

1 stick butter, softened

1 egg

1/4 cup margarita mix (regular or strawberry)

Decorative sugar crystals, if desired

Directions:

Heat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray).

In a medium bowl, mix sugar cookie mix, flour, butter, egg, and margarita mix until combined.

Drop tablespoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

Lightly sprinkle with decorative sugar crystals, if desired.

Bake cookies for 7-9 minutes or until edges are no longer soft.

Allow to cool 2 minutes on baking sheet, then remove to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
