Meet the Oogieloves! (Printable Coloring Book Activity for Kids)

If you seen the movie posters, you’ll know The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure is set to hit theaters this Oogust, ahem, August.

As a parent of a young child you’re probably familiar with turning everyday words into fun baby, toddler and kid talk that rolls of the tongue a bit more funnily than they normally would.

While an “oogielove” isn’t an everyday word just yet, it will be once your kiddies see the movie, so best get acquainted with what, or rather, who the Oogieloves are now!

If you haven’t guessed, the Oogieloves are a group of adorable, kind, smart and most importantly, loving, gaggle of friends. In fact, creator Ken Viselmann specifically called them the Oogieloves because he wanted the overall message of love they bring in their name.

Like the characters themselves, the story they tell is incredibly visual and audible for children to enjoy. Here’s a closer look at the 3 Oogieloves you’ll get to know later this summer!

Our first Oogielove is Goobie and he is the most lovable inventor in all of LovelyLoveville. He’s got a passion for science and is the Oogielove who’s always prepared for any sort of problem with a creative and practical solution.

But he’s got other loves, too! Goobie’s favorite food is pickles and they’re always sure to inspire some of his most creative ideas. Like his friends, Goobie is a musician and plays the guitar. His favorite word? Scientastic, of course!

Zoozie is the real lover of language though. If you can believe it, she’s fluent in every single language and dialect that exists! She can even converse with animals, which certainly comes in handy when the Oogieloves are off on their adventure. Though Zoozie’s a big fan of pink, sparkles and all things every little girl loves, she’s also just as adventurous as the boys. She plays the keyboard and her favorite word to say is sparkeliciousness!

Last, but certainly not least, there’s Toofie, our fearless Oogielove! Toofie faces any challenge head on with excitement. He’s the youngest of all our Oogieloves, which means he’s more prone to getting into what we like to call “predicaments” and that means there’s always something to do when Toofie’s around. He’s the best climber in all of LovelyLoveville and can climb anything, no matter how tall or high it seems. Toofie plays the drums and his favorite word is adventurific.
