When it comes to summer grilling, we love to indulge in a marinated steak recipe. Don't get us wrong, chicken, shrimp, tuna, pork - all great - but there's nothing like a steak served alongside grilled veggies. Check out the easy recipe below for a Asian-inspired steak. You can do the prep work the night before.
Ingredients
2 pounds of boneless top round or sirloin steak
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil
1/3 cup French's Classic Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup French's Classic Yellow Mustard
2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Place your steak into a resealable plastic bag.
Whisk the remaining ingredients in a large measuring cup (or bowl). Reserve 3/4 cup of the marinade and pour the remaining marinade over the steak in the plastic bag.
Seal your bag completely and marinate the steak in your refrigerator for at least 3 hours and up to overnight. When ready, remove the steak from the bag using a sturdy pair of tongs. (Discard the bag and marinade.)
Grill or broil your steak for about 15 minutes (for medium rare) or to your liking.
As the steak cooks, heat the reserved 3/4 cup marinade in a small pot and stir every few minutes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and allow to simmer for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to sit.
Once the steak is cooked, remove from the heat and allow to rest so juices can redistribute (about 5 to 10 minutes). When ready to serve, drizzle the marinade over the steak, then slice the meat into thin strips.
We like ours with a side of grilled veggies!
