An Ice Cream float is a sweet, classic treat that both adults and kids will enjoy. You'd be hard pressed to find a party guest who would turn one of these creamy fizzy drink desserts down when you hand them a glass.
For hosts, it’s a simple dessert that takes only minutes to put together, but will leave a lasting impression on the gathering of guests you serve it to.
To go with the movie theme party I had, I made these floats. It seemed only fitting to pass out classic ice cream soda floats with Coca Cola for my old school movie night. And since coke is the typical soda that you get with your popcorn and candy at the movie, so it’s the perfect choice for this treat.

Ingredients
1 pint Vanilla Ice Cream
3 cups Coca Cola
About 12 small cups
Directions
Place 1 scoop of ice cream in each cup. Fill each cup with about 1/4 cup of Coca Cola. Place a straw inside each cup and serve immediately.
*To really give these desserts a drive-in movie feel, opt for striped paper straws and coordinating paper cups.
