Mustache Theme Party Photobooth Ideas

Some theme parties may require prep work, long hours of DIY decor and even a heftier price tag than what you'd expect. Mustache theme parties, though, don't. They provide endless hours of fun and celebration without a ton of work or money!

One of the most fun ideas in there - a party photo booth with lots and lots of mustache props.

I don't think a team of co-workers could have possibly had more fun "working" than our little group that Friday morning we doned said props to pose. We used the app Pocketbooth (available for iPhone and Androids) and went to town with these crafty props.

DIY Chalkboard Party Hats

This first idea is perfect for any party, but really perfect where mustache themes are concerned. Simply paint some generic party hats with chalkboard paint and then attach a fun topper.

We used the same raffia from our Crate since we love repurposing so much! There was some leftover twine from our December 2012 Crate in the office and that turned out to be the perfect tie.

Because we used chalkboard paint it was easy to customize our hats with all sorts of mustache shapes.

Fingerstaches

Speaking of fun mustache shapes - what could be easier than finger tattoos? We found these fingerstaches from Gama-Go and brought them as a fun little gimmick for the office and never expected to have so much fun with them!

They've now made appearances at about 6 other parties we've all attended outside of here and still cause such a stir whenever we pass them around.

Mustache Lollipops

Sure you could cut them out of cardstock and glue them to a stick, but you know what kind of mustache really impresses? Ones made out of chocolate.

These mustache lollipop molds from Wilton make for a pretty killer prop - not only do they show up fabulous in photos, they also taste great and inspire a lot of fun poses. Just melt some chocolate in the microwave, we used regular chocolate chips, then pour directly into the mold. Next, pop a lollipop stick in the designated spot and let harden in the fridge!

So easy, so fun.
