Oogieloves Theme Party for the Kids

More Party Ideas

Celebrate the release of the film Oogieloves Big Balloon Adventure, or theme your child's birthday with decor and ideas pulled directly from the movie. Your kids will love all the singing, dancing, and bright colors from the movie and that's exactly what inspired this party!

LovelyLoveville is a beautiful place with lots of vibrant colors. We set our table with bright placemats, plates, utensils, and printables, to emulate that.

Die-cut placemats set with contrasting plates are placed at each seat.  Printed name cards let each child know where to sit, and are made more playful with their pop-up balloon graphic.

Each child gets his/her own monogrammed bottle filled with blue tinted juice. The "classic milk bottles" are reminiscent of the 50's feel in the movie.

Wooden utensils get a facelift by adding brightly colored tape to the handle. This is a quick and easy way to dress up these biodegradable forks.

Every place setting was given a bit more fun with a maze activity card and pencil attached with a clip. Of course, at the end of the maze are two big balloons!

The children were able to feast on snacks inspired by our favorite Oogielove characters.

Kids everywhere love Goldfish crackers and these fit right in with our Oogieloves theme thanks to our friend Ruffy!

Inspired by Lero and Lola's maracas, we made colorful cruncy cereal pops.

Homemade Dotty Rounder cupcakes were served for dessert - the bright colors and circle toppers were a favorite with the kids!
