Orange Themed Party Favors

Party favors created with orange patterned scrapbook paper hold some little treats for the guests and add another fun orange element to the table.

Supplies

Decorative scrapbook paper cut in a rectangle:  5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4
inches.

A roll of two-sided tape with one side that has a backing on it such as
Sticky Strip Paper Crimper.

Directions

Step 1: Apply a 4 1/4 inch length of sticky strip to the back side of the paper along the edge of one of the 4 1/4 inch sides.  (Side 1)

Step 2: Apply a 2 1/2 inch length piece of sticky strip from this first piece to about the middle of the 5 1/2 inch side. (Side 2)

Step 3: Apply a 1 3/4 inch length of sticky strip to the center of the other 5 1/2 inch side. (Side 3)

Step 4: Remove the backing from the sticky strip on side 1 and side 2.  Leave the backing on side 3 for now.

Step 5: Adhere the short ends of the paper to form a cylinder.

Step 6: Press the two edges with the exposed sticky strip together to create a flat edge.

Step 7: Fill the container with small candies or nuts.

Step 8: Remove the backing from Side 3 and press these edges together in an opposite direction from the other end, sealing the goodies inside.

Step 9: For a more finished look, crimp the edges together.

Step 10: Tie a ribbon and add a tag or sticker to embellish.
