Outdoor Bubble Bath for Kids

May 2, 2012

One of the hottest attractions at our local children’s museum is the bubble exhibit, where kids simultaneously create gigantic bubbles from pools of bubble solution. Inspired by the museum’s creativity, we developed our own outdoor version that we repeat for all our outdoor parties - or on summer days when boredom strikes.

Have some fun with your own outdoor bubble bath at home - here's what you'll need!

Supplies

Plastic Storage Container
1 bottle of dishwasher liquid
Several gallons of water
3-5 bubble wands
Sturdy base under 2 ft in height (plastic crate, snack table/cocktail table)

Steps

Tape box down to base with by applying masking tape “pillows” on corners of container to prevent from container from falling over.

Fill 3/4 of container with water.

Add 1/4 of bottle of dishwasher liquid to water; adjust as needed.

Stir gently.

Dip bubble wands in the bubble solution and wave the wand and let the fun begin.
