Celebrate America with some clever uses of red, white, and blue.

• Instead of the old paper streamers, use lightweight red, white and blue lengths of fabric over your party space. Attach the fabric in the same way that you would secure Christmas lights, use tacks where appropriate, or try binder clips on roof

• String patriotic lights from roof eaves or in trees.

• Use citronella red, white and blue star torches for a soft glow in your yard and to keep pests away.

• Exercise care when hanging decorations in windy weather and use caution with open flames when kids or pets are present.
