Owl Theme Baby Shower Dessert Table

Dessert tables are such a focal point at any celebration (and a really popular party trend at the moment, too!). We put one together that features color coordinated sweets along with whimsical Owl details for a recent baby shower.

Using our party invitation from Pear Tree Greetings was the perfect starting point in deciding what to serve and what colors to incorporate.

A beautiful dessert display will dazzle your guests visually as well as through taste. Choose a side table, desk, or even open shelves to showcase your sweets for an unexpected, but charming base.

We filled an empty frame with the same fabric that was used on the seated table to connect the two parts of our party space. We also added the same owl motif to the table with another figurine and party invitation.

Owl cupcakes are the primary dessert for this themed shower and we showcased them on a tall cake stand. We used another invitation as a decorative "art" embellishment by cutting out the owl silhouette and placing it in an empty frame.

Homemade hocolate lollipops in the shape of an owl are adorable and whimsical. Guests can eat them during the shower or take them home as a favor. Have small baggies available for guests to pack them in.

Another sweet treat for guests are these tubes filled with orange candies. The tubes were re-purposed from Halloween (they originally held Halloween sprinkles) and are just the right size for individual servings. Embelllished with white feathers, they fit right in with our theme.

Even our baby shower drinks are color coordinated to the shower. These are adorned with more owls we made using a craft punch, some coordinating color cardstock and plastic stir sticks.
