At Home Super Bowl Party Games for Adults

As with any party, you have to be sure to have enough games and activities planned to keep your guests entertained and occupied. The Super Bowl is no exception.

Here are a few Super Bowl games and activities to keep the bigger kids at your party entertained - whether they're all about the game or not!

Super Bowl Betting

Set up a big board for some Super Bowl betting. Before the game, print out team stats online to help get the betting started for those guests who may not be familiar with the teams playing.

Play Ad Bingo

Provide entertainment for guests that are more interested in the company than the game itself.

Summary: This is a great activity for the non-sports fans at the party (and another opportunity for the serious gamblers to win big!). It is a great way to incorporate everyone into the fun and conversation.

How to Play: Take a traditional Bingo card (a 5x5 grid) and replace the letters with succinct descriptions of particular ads running during the game. (Remember, each card should be slightly different from the next.) You can use brand logos, names or adjectives to describe commercials.

As the commercials air, cross off the squares that you think fit the description.

Tips:A few days before your party start by researching Super Bowl advertisers and the commercials they plan to run. The Web site Adage.com lists most of the companies that have bought airtime. Pick at least 24 ads (the center square of the card is a free space)

For a simpler version, pick 25 or so generic things you would like to see in the Super Bowl adds (I.E. athlete spokesperson, truck commercial, talking animal) and create your grid.

Players can buy cards at the beginning of the game and the winner will receive the cash prize at the end. Or, have everyone join in for free and have a pre-determined prize ready for the winner.

Especially for the Ladies

Hire someone to do foot reflexology, manicures and pedicures for the ladies on hand since they may not be as interested in watching the game.

They can sip themed cocktails and munch on yummy Super Bowl dips while they get pampered!
