Painted Shamrock T-Shirts

It always seems like there is never anything green to wear when St. Patrick's Day rolls around. This quick project remedies that situation and ensures you won't be pinched all day.

Supplies

• shamrock template
• heavy cardstock
• green fabric or acrylic paint
• stiff paintbrush
• white t-shirt
• scrap cloth (dishtowel, another t-shirt)
• iron

Directions

1. Print out a shamrock image or draw your own.

2. Trace it onto a sheet of heavy cardstock.

3. Cut out the shamrock shape to create a template.

4. Place the shamrock template in the center of the t-shirt.

5. Using a stiff paintbrush, paint the shamrock shape onto the t-shirt.

6. After the paint is dry, place a piece of cloth on top of the painted portion and iron.
