Hostesses are responsible for some pretty great times and memories - they open their home to so many and look for nothing at in return, all with the goal to make people happy and to celebrate something special.
The next time you head to a party, make sure you remember to thank that hostess! While a handwritten card mailed to her a few days post-party is always a must, why not bring her a little something special to thank her in advance?
We've put together a few simple ideas that'll really show her how grateful. They're all inexpensive and fairly simple to do, so there's no excuse not to gift one to your hostess!
Tell her to kick back and relax with a custom basket. This doesn't have to be anything elaborate - a pair of soft, snowy-white gloves and some hand lotion are a thoughtful gift for your hostess.
We found a festive and inexpensive ceramic container to tuck the gloves and lotion in and then added a few sprigs of greenery for embellishment. That's all it takes to have a unique little gift to show your appreciation.
Take it a step further to pamper your favorite hostess. A luxurious bar of soap makes a lovely gift, and after all that hard work, the hostess in your life deserves a little luxury! Fragrant, and beautifully wrapped, this bar of soap is a little present in itself. For a little extra flair, we tucked ours in a small organza bag and tied an olive green tassel to it.
In addition to making the gift wrap something special, you can also go the DIY route for the soap itself. Vanessa has such an easy tutorial on how to make candy cane soap - and there's nothing more festive than that!
Mason jars make for the perfect pampered hostess gift because they're so pretty and can be customized so easily. While you might pamper your hostess with a body scrub, we can't think of anything more indulgent than a delicious holiday dessert or snack. A hostess goes above and beyond cooking, baking and feeding so many during the holidays and we like the idea of giving her a break from the kitchen and something sweet just for her.
