It wouldn't be Halloween with jack-o-lanterns! These festive gourds are a popular subject for Halloween crafts. This paper pumpkin comes together quick and an accordion fold technique makes it unique. Make a bunch of them to hang on the front porch on Halloween night or above the treats table at your party. This super easy craft is great for your smallest crafters!
Supplies
Orange tissue paper or crepe paper sheet (approx. 11x14)
Bblack scrap paper
Brown ribbon
Scissors
Glue
Directions
Fold two sheets of orange tissue or crepe paper back and forth accordion style.
Holding one end of the folded sheet, pull the other end apart like a fan until the side meet.Glue them together forming a circle.
Cut three triangles and a mouth shape out of black scrap paper.
Glue on the shapes making the eyes, nose and mouth of your jack-o-lantern.
Glue the ends of a short piece of brown ribbon together forming a loop, and then glue to the top of your paper jack-o-lantern.
