No Parisian themed birthday party would be complete without some Paris style sweets for the kids to enjoy. For the dessert table, “Le Doughnut Shoppe” was created. A PVC canopy draped with red and white striped fabric were both made to create a doughnut shoppe you would see on the streets of Paris.
We ordered custom ‘Pancakes in Paris’ themed invitations as well as printables to decorate our dessert table.
This custom printable “Le Doughnut Shoppe” sign, from the printable collection, was framed and hung as the centerpiece of the table.
Instead of cake or cupcakes, we served doughnuts for dessert to compliment the brunch theme.
Doughnuts were displayed on white serving trays and cake stands while doughnut holes were placed in cupcake liners on a cupcake tower.
We then assembled the coordinating printables for the doughnuts by cutting them out and gluing them onto toothpicks.
For a Main Meal Try
Since the big fuss was made for dessert, we kept our main meal on the simpler side, but still gave it a special touch.
We opted to serve cost effective microwaveable pancakes to our little guests, but whipping up some mini pancakes on the griddle for your girls is easy enough.
We also let the girls choose their own toppings for their pancakes. Assorted small plastic bowls filled with chocolate chips, sprinkles, blueberries and strawberries were arranged at the center of the table.
Our little guests also sipped on milk with striped straws in small Styrofoam lidded cups that we bought at the store.
