Most people head outdoors for a relaxed barbecue to celebrate the 4th of July. Make sure your celebration keeps things friendly for your four-legged friends that are invited.

If having an outdoor gathering, scatter tennis balls (bonus points if you can find them in red, white, and blue) around the party space. Guests of all shapes, sizes, and species will appreciate the toys!

You’re already taking pride in your country, so why not show some for your pet? Proudly display an “a-DOG-able” flower arrangement from 1-800 Flowers and show your pet that this party’s for them too!

Don’t worry about fussy costumes that make your furry friends fidget, instead tie a simple red, white, and blue ribbon around their collar for a fashionable and festive touch.

Channel Betsy Ross and make your own pet-inspired riff on the famous flag. Just lay out a sheet of canvas next to trays of Red, White, and Blue Washable paint and let your guests of all species traipse across the canvas, resulting in a custom party favor that perfectly captures the spirit of the holiday.
