Picking the Perfect Destination

Tips for Picking the Perfect 30th Birthday Adventure Weekend Destination:
1. Ideally, the destination should be no more than a 3.5 hour drive away so you can still plan a day and a half of fun activities.
2. Research average temperatures and typical weather for the time of year you are planning the adventure weekend.
3. Determine how wild and rural of a setting you are comfortable with. Coming home to a plush log cabin after a hike is perfect for some, while others love roughing it and sleeping under the stars at night.
4. Research camping, fishing, hiking and cooking policies at the campsite before your final selection. If you have your heart set on creating a fire to roast marshmallows, for example, make sure the campfire allows open fires.
