Planning for a Kids Party

Here are some easy tips to make party planning a bit easier. Make a run through of your party by laying out all of your party supplies a couple days before the party. This way you have plenty of time to pick up last minute things you may have forgotten about before the party occurs.

• Make a "To Do" list. Create a check list of items still needed for your party so that you don't encounter any problems during your party and won't forget any last minute pick-ups!

• Make a grocery list. We all know how important food and refreshments are at any party! Make sure to make your grocery list ahead of time so that none of the items you want are sold out or difficult to find.

• If you hire anyone for your party, such as staff or an entertainer, it is important to call them the day before the party to confirm that they will be arriving at the proper location and the correct time the day of your party. • If you are pre-ordering food, call the restaurant or market you are ordering from the day before to ensure that your food will be ready for pick up on the day of your party. For example, I had my friends call the pizzeria the day before my Diego and Dora party to make sure that the pizzas would be ready for pick-up at 11am the next morning and would be double-cut like I requested.
