Pool Party Games for Adults

Most adults are happy to lounge around the pool chatting with friends, cocktail in hand. But, any of these pool party games for adults will get them off the towels and into the water.

Competitive Games

It doesn't matter if it's a quick round of dodge ball or a serious game of water polo, just get in the pool and play ball.

Divide guests into teams and let them know there is a prize to win such as the losing team makes and serves drinks for the rest of the party.

Floating Casino

Okay, this one is easy. Buy a floating casino, find a comfortable place to float and start rolling the dice. There's nothing like playing blackjack while beating the heat of summer by lounging in the pool. If card or dice games aren't up your ally, try a drinking game like pool beer pong - just drink responsibly!

Wet T-Shirt Contest

It's not really that kind of contest.

You'll need two teams and two large t-shirts. Each team forms a line at one end of the pool. The first person in line puts on the shirt and swims to the other end of the pool and back, takes off the shirt and passes it to the next player who repeats the steps.

The first team to have everyone swim across the pool in the wet t-shirt wins!

For a less clothed version of this game, have pool party participants fun across the pool. It's a lot harder than you think - especially after a few cocktails! Amp up the challenge and have bystanders make waves with floats.
