Ingredients

For Hamburgers:

  • 6 small round brioche rolls
  • Salt and fresh-ground black pepper
  • 6 2-ounce ground chuck patties
  • 3 slices good-quality American cheese, cut in half
  • 12 slices ripe Roma tomatoes
  • 6 tablespoons shredded romaine lettuce
  • 6 teaspoons Pop Burger Sauce (recipe follows)


For Pop Burger Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pickles
  • Salt and fresh-ground black pepper

Directions

1. Toast rolls in warm nonstick skillet

2. Char-grill burgers that have been seasoned with salt and fresh-ground black pepper.

3. Top burgers with cheese and tomato slices for final minute of cooking time (3 to 4 minutes total).

4. Spread roll bottoms with Pop Burger Sauce and top with shredded lettuce, burger, tomato, cheese, and tops.

3 (2 per person)
