Though it looks like a cupcake you won't find a single drop of batter in this popcorn party favor!
Completely edible, our popcorn cupcakes are made from a chocolate shell base, filled with peanut brittle popcorn and topped with half a popcorn ball from The Popcorn Factory.
Both salty and sweet, this party favor is easier to make than it looks and we had a blast crafting them.
Make as a movie night or awards show party snack, or pass out at a kids party as a fun popcorn favor they'll love. Here's how.
Supplies
dark chocolate candy melts
12 cupcake wrappers
xsmall unused sponge paint brush
6 popcorn balls
peanut brittle popcorn
white chocolate candy pen
12 red M&Ms
Directions

Step 1: Melt your chocolate. Meanwhile, place your cupcake wrappers in a cupcake pan. This will help them keep their shape as they set. Drizzle chocolate into the wrappers one at a time.

Step 2: Paint each cupcake wrapper with an even layer of chocolate. We repeated this step twice - once more after the first layer set to be sure all sides were filled and even.
Step 3: Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set cupcake shells.
Step 4: Once set, peel away wrappers from the outside of your chocolate shell.

Step 5: Cut a popcorn ball in half, top with M&M secured with softened white chocolate from candy pen. Fill your shell with peanut brittle popcorn and top with popcorn ball.
