Squeezing in your at-home, pre-party pampering is easy when you time it right.
If you are making a roast or turkey for the holidays, plan on beginning your pampering two hours before company arrives, and just after you first put your meal in the oven to cook.
Have all other side dishes, with the exception of salad, ready to go so they can be quickly re-heated if necessary.
Then, it's time to relax.
Since throwing a party tends to squeeze the wallet, our at home pampering tips use affordable, multiple use products like ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and a moisturizing mud masque.
Begin by filling your bath with warm water and a cup of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda for a relaxing and refreshing soak. Your skin will feel silky smooth and it's the perfect way to decompress before hosting a party.
While the bath tub fills, use a light facial scrub to exfoliate and brighten skin. Follow up with a mud mask that needs to sit for fifteen to twenty minutes.
Once the mud mask is on, step into the tub and soak for fifteen minutes. Light a few candles around the edge of the bath and put on your favorite music for a truly indulgent experience. At the end of the bath, rinse off your mud mask to reveal glowing, radiant skin.
After a relaxing soak, add a quarter-sized amount of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda into your palm along with your regular shampoo and lather up your locks. The Baking Soda will remove the residue that styling products leave behind so your hair is cleaner and more manageable.
The final step in your pre-party pampering is a home pedicure. Sit at the edge of your tub and gently scrub feet with a paste of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda. Dry feet and apply the mud mask to your tootsies for baby-soft heels. Moisturize feet and add a coat of nail polish.
Your at-home pre-party pampering regimen is complete, with enough time to dress and do your makeup before guests arrive!
