Purple Haze Cocktail Recipe

Contributor

Bursting with good health, this warm weather chiller is the perfect cocktail to celebrate Earth Day.

The sharpness of pomegranate and the zing of green tea give this cocktail the healthy option every cocktail bar needs to celebrate Earth Day. Served in a repurposed jam jar tie in the décor theme of the party while also giving your guests a relaxed party going experience using some coordinated ribbon, like I did.

Made in advance and filled 3/4 of the way full, all that is left to do is add the ice and enjoy the festivities!

Ingredients:

3 Ounces of fresh Pomegranate Juice

1 Ounce of Vodka

1 Ounce of Green Tea

Handful of Fresh Pomegranate seeds

Directions:

Brew the green tea as directed on the tea box and allow to cool to room temperature.

Once cool, add the pomegranate juice, green tea and vodka to a jam jar, taking care to fill it 3/4 of the way full before adding a handful of Pomegranate seeds to the jar and sealing it.

Serve along side an ice bucket to keep the drink chilled, but avoid diluting the cocktail.

Have guests scoop a bit of ice into their drink when ready to enjoy and give a little shake before sipping!
