The pumpkins come in various sizes, this recipe can be realized for a large table or for two people!
For 4 people, a pumpkin 1 kg or 1.2 kg may suffice.
Choose an organic pumpkin for the taste with its skin (the skin is edible and even particularly nutritious but is rich in pesticides if it comes from non-organic farming) is the vegetable and simultaneously serves to baking dish!
Ingredients
1 nice organic pumpkin (skin is edible and much better if it is organic!) About 1 kg
4 sausages or 250g of meat stuffing
1 cup quinoa
2 onions
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons curry Indian
Directions
This recipe is based on many difficult cuts, it is to be performed by adults. But children can, loyal assistants, begin work by brushing under running water the skin of the little pumpkin!
Cut up the pumpkin (step delicate fingers beware!) And then remove the seeds and fibers.
Take a small portion of the flesh with a spoon.
With a small knife, draw the shape of (large) eyes, nose, and mouth toothless (smiling or not under the age of the guests!). Always with the knife, remove the skin in these areas.
In the pumpkin, then pour a mixture of stuff: onions, sausage meat (or organic sausages which have the advantage of being easier to find and have no additives particularly and harmful to young children .. ), and cooked rice or quinoa.
The pumpkin, cover or "hat", is then placed in the hot oven for 1 hour at small temperature (165 c).
