Rock n' Roll Party Playlist

This type of music is sure to have at least one person, if not everyone, standing on a table and singing along.

It’s perfect for a daytime pool party or BBQ. These classics will be enjoyed by both men and women alike.

I asked my friends Matt White and Courtney Love to help me put together my summer rock ‘n roll playlist.

Courtney Love is an American singer-songwriter, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and actress. She is best known as front woman and co-founder of alternative rock band Hole.

Hole released several successful albums in the 1990s, debuting with Pretty on the Inside (1991), an underground noise rock hit which was especially popular in the United Kingdom.

The band followed with two massively acclaimed albums, Live Through This (1994) and Celebrity Skin (1998).

On July 23, 2011 Courtney Love will play in Moscow, Russia at the Afisha Picnic Festival in Kolomenskoye Park. It will be her first appearance in Russia with support from Kaiser Chiefs, Marina and the Diamonds and other Russian and international acts.
