Rum Balls in a Gift Box

The gift I always give to the host or hostess at a cocktail party is rum balls! Pack up these spiked little bites in a fabulous gift box and send them to your best pal!

• Whip up a batch of rum balls using this saucy recipe.
• Purchase a nice holiday gift box with a lid that is about 2-inches high. Look at craft stores or candy making supply stores for appropriate boxes.
• Line the box with wax paper.
• Add a layer of rum balls in the bottom of the box and a sheet of wax paper on top. Add another layer of rum balls if you have the room and cover with wax paper. Or you can use a plastic candy mold insert to hold the balls if available.
• Wrap the box with beautiful ribbon to secure. Place the gift box in a larger box with padding to send through the mail or a delivery service. I recommend a shipping speed to where the baked good arrives on the 3rd day at the latest.
