Scented Favors for a Fall Wedding or Anniversary

Scent triggers the mind and helps us record those special moments that we want to remember forever. Giving your guests a scented party favor not only fills the room with your signature scent, it also gives them something especially tied to the actual celebration to take away and remember it by weeks, even months later.

For the Autumn wedding I staged, I continued the theme of the Autumn leaves in my Pear Tree wedding invitation by filling sheer delicate gift bags with scented pine cones and Autumn potpourri pieces. I finished the favor off by adorning it with the free gift bag printables I got from Frog Prince Paperie.

The supplies for this wedding party favor cost me very little in the funds department, and while it was a homemade favor, it didn't cost me much in the time spent/preparation process either.

Supplies

Whole punch
Sheer gift bags (to allow the scent to fill the room)
Gift Tag
Scented autumn décor

Directions

Punch a whole in each of your themed gift tags. Then fill your sheer gift bags with the scented potpourri before tying the gift tag to each gift bag. 

For this party I used the wedding favors to decorate the place settings, however you could also fill large glass vases with the wedding favors and use them as a centerpiece on each table or on a special favor table.
