The Halloween season is saturated with parties of all sorts, so getting an invitation in the mail at least five weeks out is important. A great buffet filled with Halloween themed finger foods and cocktails was the focal point for our affair. Wanting to keep decorations to a minimum as this was a cocktail party, we decided to bring the holiday to the eyes of our guests with delicious bites and sips.
As guests arrived, they were offered a glass of our ruby red Bloody Cherry punch. Orange is such an expected color when it comes to Halloween we decided to turn to our invitations' eerie red border and use that to bring a touch of unexpected color to the mix.
Our layered Mexican dip is a hit throughout the year at so many parties that if we didn't include it in the mix our friends would have been disappointed. To give the usual dip a spooky twist, we simply piped a spider web design on top - simple, spooky and satisfying!
Jell-O shots are making a big comeback in the party world and there's no holiday that's more perfect to serve these fun sips at than Halloween. We're layering our shots to give them a candy corn look that's both festive and delicious!
Disguise that classic strawberry treat everyone loves so much to make them look like spooky ghosts! Just replace milk chocolate with white and follow our decorating how-to.
