The story of Snow White has always been a classic childhood tale. We're all familiar with the princess plot, evil stepmother, magic mirror and of course, the seven dwarfs. Sure, Disney theme parties were always popular when we were kids, but what about throwing a Snow White party as an adult? Think dry ice, themed cocktails and fun costumes.
Recently we were invited to a party hosted by Yellow Tail and NBC Universal for the DVD release of the film, Snow White & the Huntsman. The raw event space was transformed into a good vs. evil party full of inspiring decor and food. We were able to see a Snow White theme party first hand and we loved it! From a candy apple decorating table to a candy buffet and earthy decor elements scattered throughout the party, it was a fun and creative way to bring Snow White to an adult party.

To host a Snow White theme party, make sure you think about your decor. A big part of the story is when Snow White eats the poisonous apple and falls under the sleeping death spell. Scatter apples throughout your party and try placing a pretty pile of them on top of dry ice on your bar or cocktail table.
If you're not into themed foods, try serving something everyone will enjoy like these mini grilled cheese sandwiches. Decorate your serving platter with woodsy elements to tie the central theme back into your food.
Pigs in a blanket are a party food staple, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring. Dress up your appetizers by layering them on cinnamon sticks and adding more earthy elements to play on aspects from the movie.
Guests will love a whimsical candy bar full of colorful treats. Try using tiered glasses of different styles and heights to showcase the candy. Draping lace candy over the side of your bowls will give them a willow tree-like look.
Still using apples as a party element, set up a DIY candy apple bar. Guests will love dipping their apples in candy coating, caramel sauce and other fun toppings. Scatter flamless candles to add ambiance to your table.
Themed cocktails are a must so let your guests choose if they are good or evil! We concocted a few Snow White themed sips using Yellow Tail sparkling wine.
