Sparkling Watermelon Lemonade

Sparkling lemonade mixed with watermelon puree equals a fabulous summertime refreshment fit for any celebration! We kept our recipe a mocktail, but this drink becomes an instant cocktail when you add a splash of watermelon vodka!

Ingredients

1 (750 ml) bottle of Sparkling Lemonade
3 cups of cubed watermelon
watermelon balls

Directions for Lemonade

Puree the cubed watermelon in a blender. Then, add about 1/4 cup puree to each glass and top off with the sparkling lemonade. For garnish, add a frozen watermelon ball skewer to each glass.

Directions for watermelon skewers:

Using a melonballer, make watermelon balls and thread them onto long wooden skewers. Place skewers in freezer until serving time, then use to garnish the drink.

Pack this drink for a picnic by placing the bottled lemonade, a jar of the watermelon puree, and the frozen watermelon skewers in an ice chest. Combine the ingredients when it's time for a little refreshment.
