Spooky Halloween Antipasta Appetizer

Most ladies we know love  appetizers and a menu full of these tasty bites is the perfect party fare for a Halloween cocktail party that's all about your girls. You can prep all the dishes yourself or make it pot luck so everyone contributes. The only catch is that the food should relate to Halloween in some way.

Our spooky Halloween antipasta appetizer will provide you with some food for thought as well as spook and satify your guests!

We like to call these festive Halloween appetizers 'Flesh & Bone' bites that fit right into our skull and skeleton theme. The pickles inside are the crunchy "bones" while the ham is the "flesh". They are yummy and only require a few minutes of assembly. Best part? The circle shape fits our invitation perfectly!

Ingredients:

1 package sliced ham - the rectangular shaped kind

1 tub softened cream cheese

1 jar baby dill pickles

Directions:

Begin by laying out a slice of ham and pat it dry with a paper towel.

Spread cream cheese all over the ham.

Use two pickles per slice of ham, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Lay them end to end on the long side of the ham at the edge.

Begin rolling the ham up and over the pickles and roll all the way to the end.

Slice off the ends and discard so you have a clean edge to the "flesh" and "bones."
