Spiders scream Halloween spookiness! Add this element of Halloween fright to your party by making a spooky Halloween decoration! Just a few items from the craft store, a little imagination and a whole lof of Halloween excitement will help this perfectly spooky wreath come together and send chills down your guests spines as they enter your haunted house!

Supplies

1 Styrofoam Wreath – can be any size you’d like

Black Spray Paint

Stuff to Cover the Wreath With – can be anything, bats, crows, spiders, pumpkins I’d just aim to stick within the same color scheme also whatever you choose get both big and little so you can fill in everywhere

Cut Out Letters – I used these to add the word “BOO”

Matching Ribbon to Hang

Directions

Place the Styrofoam wreath on a trash bag or piece of cardboard so you don’t get paint all over the place

Hold spray paint about a foot away from the Styrofoam and spray in even layers. You made need to do a few coats as Styrofoam absorbs the paint like a sponge! Be sure to wear gloves so you don’t destroy that manicure!!

Allow the newly black wreath to dry completely

I chose sparkly spiders for my wreath because I love Halloween décor but I didn’t want it to be too scary... I don’t want to terrify my toddlers after all!

Use a glue gun to add spiders to the wreath

I started with the big guys and then used the little ones to fill in

Try to use the smaller pieces to fill in wherever you can, the bottom, sides and interior walls of the wreath so it feels really full

I used the sparkly letters I bought to spell out the word BOO. I simply glued the letters together into one word and then glued it to the wreath

I used my matching ribbon to hang the wreath on the door... I have a nail already hung for wreaths but if you don’t you can attach yours with one of those removable plastic hooks from 3M that wont damage your door

A close up of the finished product!!
