Spooky Spider Cupcakes

Don’t let these little spooky spider cupcakes scare you away! These tasty little guys are full of fun and just as fun to make, too. Get the little ones involved by having them create their own unique, spooky spiders…and then let them gobble them right up!

Ingredients

1 boxed cake mix (any flavor), prepared as cupcakes, cooked and cooled
1 can chocolate frosting
Chocolate sprinkles
Pretzel sticks
Red Hot candies

Directions

Prepare cupcakes as directed on package, OR try making them as Soda Cupcakes.

Frost cooled cupcakes with chocolate frosting.

Put chocolate sprinkles in a small, shallow bowl. Dunk frosted cupcakes into sprinkles to cover tops.

Place two Red Hot candies on each cupcake to make the spider eyes.

Break pretzel sticks in half and insert into sides of cupcake for spider legs.
