Star Straw Slip-Ons

This super simple Fourth of July craft will add a festive accent on drinking straws for a party.

Directions

• Materials:

  • Fourth of July design paper or red, white, or blue paper
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Star shape paper punch
• Shop for Fourth of July design paper in the scrapbook section of a craft store.
• Cut out 2-inch star shapes from paper or use a star paper punch.
• Fold the stars in half and make 2 cuts about 1/4-inch apart into the folded part of the paper. Don't cut through the star.
• Unfold the star and slip a straw into the slits. Slide the star down a bit to dress up the top half of the straw.
